'Rock-a-by-babeee...'crooned Daedalus' mother as she pushed him out of the oak tree.
The baby dropped towards the ground and disappeared into a pile of leaves.
'Goo gah,' laughed little Daedalus. The leaves had broken his fall. Underneath the leaves were old papyrus scrolls, crumpled up. Underneath the papyrus was a pile of cork from the cork oak.
'Another safe landing,' said his mother, as she climbed down out of the tree. 'Come to mumma, Deedee.
