Axel insisted that we all go to the opening day of the cactus and succulent show.

I had no idea that he had transported the desert world from his garage to

the Town Hall. A television crew was there and interviewed Axel (via Alice) for about half an hour.

'Well done, Kim,' said Susan to me later. 'What excellent publicity for the school.'

Pretty good publicity for Axel...and Alice.
