I'll say this for Susan. She's got spunk.
Not like the average principal who would have ignored Ian's put-down, or at best made some innocuous, general remark at the next staff meeting...
Susan scruffed Ian after yesterday afternoon's staff meeting and told him straight, 'Ours is not a put-down school. We don't expect it from the students and we won't tolerate it from the staff.'
At least that's how he reported it to me when he apologised this morning.
Now I don't know if he's my enemy or just my enemy. But he's honest as an admiral. Huh?
