Flying along the Mediterranean coast...the 'upside down' Easter moon was reflected back through the clouds from rivers and lakes like slow motion lightning.

Cruised on the Sky Bus through foggy bank holiday London. Everything seemed somehow more scaled-down than I had expected.

Settled in at the Penn Club then went straight round the corner to the British Museum and explored a couple of corners: illuminated manuscripts, the Lindisfarne Gospels, letters from famous writers, the Elgin marbles (from the Acropolis), Aztec art... The Byzantine exhibition!

In the afternoon shopped in the rain along Oxford Street and Regent Street. Collapsed for a while at 6pm then staggered out to a French restaurant later.
