On the way back from Bangkok and another successful buying trip--3000 pairs of shoes you'd swear were Italian leather--Don Allegro blinks out of the Boeing at the khaki rollers, snow-puffed hitops, beach ribbons, sea mirrors, twinkling settlements, odd boats, bits of landscape moulded familiar&Such cool, calm custard.

--I wonder if Jenny has dyed her hair while I've been away. She's threatened to. She'll be waiting at the airport with Danielle, both dressed in black coats, pasty faces and glossy hair.
